What Mr.Steam products does Backyard America offer?
Backyard America offers Mr.Steam residential steam generators and generator packages, steam shower control packages and controls, AromaSteam, ChromaSteamX and SpaH2O add-ons, electric towel warmers, and CX and CT Day Spa commercial packages. Call 888-596-4403 for help choosing products.
Where are Mr.Steam generators made, and how long has the company made steam products?
Mr.Steam residential steam generators are designed, engineered and assembled in Long Island City, New York. Mr.Steam has made steam products since 1917, when founder Arthur Sussman designed the first electric steam iron for garment factories, and was among the first to market steam shower systems for private homes.
How do I choose the right steam generator size?
Generator sizing depends on your shower’s volume, calculated from length × width × height, and its wall material, such as stone, tile or acrylic. Call 888-596-4403 with your measurements and material details for help selecting a generator.
What comes in a steam shower control package?
A control package bundles a control, steamhead and selected accessories, with contents varying among Bliss, XDream, XButler and Butler packages. Max packages include two steamheads, while Linear packages use the low-profile Linear SteamHead that sits flush with the wall; other packages use the AromaSteam SteamHead with an aroma reservoir.
What does the iSteamX control do?
iSteamX is a Wi-Fi touch-screen control that adjusts temperature and time, supports multiple user profiles and six languages, and offers AutoStart pre-heat. Its waterproof capacitive touch screen also lets you control optional color lighting and aroma and stream music and apps through paired AudioX or a suitable Bluetooth speaker.
Where can the generator go, and how much water does a session use?
Mr.Steam residential generators can be installed up to 60 feet from the shower, in locations such as a vanity cabinet, closet, under a sealed bench or in an insulated attic. About the size of a large briefcase, they use less than two gallons of water per steam session, compared with about 40 gallons for an ordinary bath.
What does AutoFlush do?
AutoFlush is an automatic self-cleaning system that flushes sediment from the generator two hours after each steam session. This helps prolong generator life.
Does Mr.Steam offer commercial steam room systems?
Yes. CX generator packages offer up to 120kW for health clubs, hotels, resorts and public spas, with quieter atmospheric operation and a 7-inch color touch-screen control that can preheat the room each day. Stainless steel CT Day Spa packages suit smaller steam rooms up to 675 cubic feet, used by up to two people at a time for under six hours a day.
How long does delivery take, where do you ship, and how can I get help?
Typical delivery time is 4–16 weeks, and Backyard America ships across the contiguous United States. Call 888-596-4403 or contact us for help choosing your system and planning your order. Members can get VIP pricing through the BYA Club.
