RETURNS
Any return must have proper authorization
in advance. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking charge and
return shipping
costs. All returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.
Clearance items may not be returned. Returned products must be packed in the original containers with
all of the packing materials. The item must be unused and suitable for
re-sale. Backyard America is not responsible for return shipping costs
and is not responsible for any shipping damage.
Products which are made to order may not be returned,
nor will you be allowed to cancel your order. Because these items are
made to your specifications and are unique, they cannot not be returned
to stock or resold. The only exception to this policy is if the product
does not materially conform to the description advertised on this web
site. Please take care when ordering any product.
Your local
Building Code Official may or not require a
building permit for some of our products, please check before ordering.
Failure to get a building permit is not an acceptable reason for
returning a structure.
All refunds are issued in the form of a check,
regardless of payment method.
SHIPMENTS
Delivery times vary with the type of product and the time of
year and sometimes change without notice. If you have a critical delivery requirement please discuss it with our sales
representatives to make sure that our current delivery times will meet your
needs. We will make every reasonable effort to get the product to you on
time, but we do not offer delivery time guarantees.

this shipment is to be delivered to a residential address:
When the shipment reaches a service center close to your house,
the shipping company will call to schedule a date and time that
is convenient for you to be available for delivery. Someone
will need to be there to unload the shipment; one to two people
are recommended; however, occasionally the driver will help.
Your shipment will be delivered on a pallet which may be easily
unloaded by hand by cutting the straps and removing each box or
part individually. The individual pieces will typically weigh
around 30 pounds each. No special equipment will be needed for
delivery. If
this shipment is to be delivered to a commercial address:
The shipping company will deliver your shipment during normal
business hours. You may call the local service center to check
the status of the shipment.

Please be sure to inspect all parts, count all boxes, and note
any damage or shortages to the shipment on the Delivery Receipt
before signing, including whether the shrink-wrap was intact
or not.
● If
the delivery receipt is signed without exception, the shipment
is considered to be delivered in satisfactory condition.

Even if the packaging arrives in good condition, there may be
hidden damage to your material.
●
Since the pallet is almost always longer then 4 feet, a liftgate
service is unnecessary and not included for your shipment; if
this additional service is requested through the shipping
company, Backyard America will charge you a $35.00 Liftgate
Service Fee. |
LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE
We check our competitors prices frequently and believe that we
offer the lowest prices and we know that we offer the best quality and
service. However on occasion we may miss a lower price from the
competition so we have a Lowest Price Guarantee. On products that we
manufacture, pergolas and railings, we will beat any price quoted for
the exact same product. It does not matter if it is a standard or custom
model - we'll beat the price. The price must include shipping and sold with
the same terms. You may be required to provide a written quote with
specifications from the competing vendor.
We recognize that you know that there is more to value than low
prices. When making a comparison between products make sure that the
comparison is on an apples to apples basis. Frankly some of the products
that appear to be similar to ours are made with smaller and fewer
components. Some are using inferior materials. If you're unsure, call
us. We will be happy to give you a written, unbiased comparison of
features and construction without cost, obligation, or pressure to buy.
We respect your privacy. We will
not share any information you provide to us without your permission under
any circumstances. All online orders are via secure servers using the
latest technology to protect your transaction. Personal information is
never allowed on laptop computers or taken outside of corporate
