The Southampton, like all Backyard America pergola
kits, is easy to assemble using our step-by-step
illustrated assembly instructions. With a few simple
tools, two people can assemble this beautiful
structure in about a day.
Specifications:
The Southampton has six pre-cut 2 x 6 gable rafter
assemblies which sit on double 2 x 8 vinyl beams
which are reinforced with aluminum "I" beams. Six
pairs of 2 x 6 flat rafters create a "ceiling" for
the structure. These rafters also have aluminum
inserts for strength and long term good looks.
 Support
columns are available in our standard square 5" x 8'
size as well as our elegant 10" x 9' tapered
columns. Top stringers are 1.5" square. All
components are 100% virgin PVC. All fasteners are
provided and are 100% stainless steel.
