Timberlast™ Composite Railing has the look of a wood railing finished with a semi-gloss enamel paint. We think it is the best looking and performing railing available and a great value. Shown above is the Charleston Model with 4 x 4 composite posts that are capped with New England post caps. Our post top and post mounted lighting fixtures work well with this railing system.

Timberlast™ Composite Railing is among the most exciting products in the Kroy Building Products line. Timberlast™ Composite Railing is made of a durable, high-performance wood composite encased in a polymer capstock, offering excellent weatherability. Though it has the look and feel of high-grade painted wood, it is resistant to warping, splitting, splintering, rotting and peeling.

Customers now have their choice of two distinct styles – The decorative Charleston and the elegant York contoured rail. With so many benefits and styles, all backed by Kroy’s Limited Lifetime Warranty, Timberlast™ remains ahead of the pack in composite rail systems.

   Charleston Model

The Charleston railing is a great choice for deck or porch. Both the top and bottom rail are a full 2" x 3.5" for strength and style. We insert an aluminum channel in the top rail for additional stiffness and strength.

Another great feature of the Timberlast™ line is the detail that until now was only available in wood. Post and rail corners are finished with a bead like that found in fine woodwork and the pickets have a beveled edge on all corners. With the lower gloss finish and the beaded detail, this is the railing that provides the beauty of wood and the low maintenance of vinyl.

The Charleston is also available with a Fair Bluff Top Cap which is 4 1/2" wide - great for setting plants or drinks! The pickets are 1.25" square. Connectors are available for straight, 45°, and 22 1/2º angles. All feature covers that match the post caps and trim rings and hide the fasteners.

The Fair Bluff Top Cap is 4 1/2" wide and is shipped with a special saddle bracket.

Railing Price Notes:

Prices do not include newel posts. Click here for post and accessory pricing. The 4 x 4 composite post will slide over a dry radius edge 4 x 4. You may have to remove some of the material from square edged wood 4 x 4 posts. All vinyl accessories will fit the 4 x 4 composite post.

A 36" railing measures 36" high from the deck floor to the top of the top railing including the approximately 2" space at the bottom. A 42" railing measures 42" high from the deck floor to the top of the top railing including the approximately 2" space at the bottom.

Stair railing sections are the same price as standard railing sections - please specify how many of each.

Railing sections are shipped with surface mounting brackets.

Hardware kits include the brackets needed for one section of railing - both ends, top and bottom rails.

Your local building department may require a hand rail on the stairway railing. Click here for hand rail components.

Shipping. Larger shipments of vinyl railing is by common carrier. The driver is only required to get the load to the tailgate although many will assist in unloading. All vinyl railing sections are boxed for protection during delivery. For larger orders the boxes will be shipped on a pallet that may be too heavy for unloading by hand. In this case the purchaser may wish to open the pallet and unload the boxes separately. Smaller orders will be shipped via UPS. The cost for delivery is 10% of the price of the total order.
